Hi Tim & Team,

Thought I would be the first to comment on the high contrast mapping.

Have been using for planning and also 3 flights on Saturday and must say I find the maps brilliant, also the display in bright sunshine is far clearer.

I know you have said these will not be implemented in the next release but I am not looking forward to going back to the old ones so my preference would be to at least have these as an option to complement the existing choices.

Also on the last couple of flights for some reason I seem to be losing GPS lock the screen displays 14 in view 14 found but no aircraft symbol and cross in the virtual radar screen. The only way to restore is to reboot and start again. There used to be an option tick box to say require precise fix or similar which has been removed which I used to have ticked

Thanks

Dan

Hi Tim,

Another fan of the high-contrast scheme for in-plane use. I also agree that the "show terrain" option is best left off with this colour scheme - at certain zoom settings it can result in a faint "checkboard" appearing which is a little distracting. I also wonder if the magenta line of the desired track is a little too close in colour to the colour used for class-A airspace boundaries - the latter are drawn in a thinner line, but virtually the same colour.

Thanks once again for all your work on SkyDemon,

Mike.
